The partners helping us make a difference
Repreve
REPREVE® leads the path to a cleaner tomorrow by being the only traceable and certifiable maker of high-performance and sustainable eco-polyester fibers. Proudly made from plastic bottles and fresh hope. REPREVE® makes it possible for ZIGZAG Climbing to create products such as the LINK Bouldering Crash Pad and Vessel Chalk Bags with body fabrics made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, and retain the highest level of durability and quality.
IVEX
It is not an easy task to develop a 100% recyclable foam that is made with recycled materials, and further doesn't sacrifice performance. Ivex stepped up to the challenge through their creation of EcoFoam, which is just one way in which they are pushing the foam industry to a more sustainable tomorrow. We proudly utilize EcoFoam in our 5-layer foam system within bouldering crash pads. Currently we are the only crash pad manufacturer utilizing recycled foams, and hope that our transparency on access to these materials drives other crash pad manufacturers to make the change as well.
CleanHub
The places most affected by plastic pollution, are also the places who have the least support to make a change. This is why ZIGZAG partnered with CleanHub, who is dedicated to tackling the plastic waste problem and improving the social and economical quality of life for the people who live there. Together we're making climbing chalk do a whole lot more.
The People and the Plastic
Through your purchase of Impact Chalk, safe and dignified jobs are created in these heavily affected areas - with fair pay, health insurance, social security, educational workshops, development opporunities, and so much more.
The plastic is collected and removed from waterways, rivers, beaches, streets, and nature - all destined for the ocean. Every bag of waste collected is fully tracked and verified by TUV SUD.
Together, we can make a huge impact
Building better lives in a cleaner world
